Waking up from a deep sleep, Shun groaned. He sat up in his makeshift bed, nothing more than a hard surface that was an operating table. He clutched at his wound as it stung, a nasty diagonal cut which had almost disemboweled him. The pirate who'd given him this scar, he was sure was already in the hands of the Marines. If he ever met that man again, he had a score to settle with him.
Climbing slowly off the bed as so not to send pain spiking through his body, Shun then made his way over to the door of the surgery, and opened it. A full blast of fresh sea air hit him, and his clothes flapped in the wind. Then he remembered - the surgeon had lifted his stomach coverings to expose his skin so that it could be stitched up. He looked down, realizing it was still uncovered, and pulled his clothes over it. If anything such as salty water touched it before it could fully heal, it was sure to irritate it.

Making his way over to the cabins on the other side of the ship, Shun looked up at the ship's wheel as he went. A man in his forties in simple merchant attire was turning it gently as each wave hit the ship, to counteract mother nature.
"Hey." Shun called up. The man's expression did not change as he looked over to the wounded swordsman, but he gave a small nod to acknowledge his presence. Shun guessed he didn't want any trouble, and was fine with stowaways on the ship as long as he could get home to his family alive. The same must've been true for the doctor and any others already on the ship. Leaving people in the port of Loguetown wasn't a problem because merchant ships passed by often, so they could've gotten on another one.
Then ignoring the man, Shun hobbled over to the cabins of hammocks, past another door. Closing it behind him, the room was immediately stuffy and dark besides for light gleaming through cracks in the ship's hull. Thankfully these cracks were above the waterline. Waiting for his eyes to adjust to the dark, Shun slowly made out the outlines of two sleepers. One of them didn't look familiar or anything like Kino, whilst the other looked like the ice-cream vendor. Therefore, Kino was either not in a hammock Shun could see from where he was, or Kino was elsewhere on the ship.

With nothing to do except wake the vendor up, he continued hobbling to the man, touching his leg with what he hoped wasn't a cold hand.

Kino was leaning against the wall of the outside ship. He was relaxing, as he had been for the past few hours of sailing. He imagined that they had already traveled quite the distance from loguetown. His vacation was ruined by some "unfortunate" events. He had gotten into a fight with a group of pirates, and apparently, he was declared to be a pirate by the marines. One of his career options. One of two career options. So, by default, due to being a wanted outlaw now, he was forced to be a pirate. Not exactly the worst career one could come up with, of course, it would mean he wouldn't get a set pay. Not that he cared, he could sail out on the seas now. He decided to worry on beli later.

Kino would begin to stand up, adjusting the hat upon his head. He was still wearing the same suit as earlier. His red hair was hidden by his hat, which he adjusted so that the sea breeze wouldn't blow it off. He began to walk around the ship. It was rather small - then again this was no average pirate ship. It was a simple merchant ship, made for carrying goods across the seas to other islands. He sighed. He began to walk towards the kitchen on the ship. Well, actually he began to look for one, only hoping that they had one. Either way, he was sure they had food among the good's they had for sale. There didn't seem to be many people out, perhaps they were all relaxing as well? What with them having just been in a battle with a handful of pirates, as well as fleeing from the marines, it did seem to have been a busy day so far, and it was not quite yet over with. He wondered what he would find to eat, he was mainly looking for fruit, though would really take anything that he could.

He continued to search for the kitchen. The hunt for the kitchen hadn't been too long, a mere few seconds had already passed since he had bothered to get up. He soon found the kitchen another mere seconds later. He began to search throughout the kitchen, opening a cabinet and finding a small variety of fruit. He took out an apple, and began to take a bite from it. He would then go search for others.

Yet again this was another day on the sea. This time, Vincent Talion found himself in the East Blue. To be honest, spending the last couple of years on the blue oceans were a piece of cake compared to the rigors of the Grand Line. The Grand Line was the place he had called home for the longest time, but now he has no nakama to call his own in regards to a crew. No, in fact he'd been doing the complete opposite. He would find himself in a town one day, and house up there for a while. He would make himself at home for a few days, eat their food, and take some of their money right before he left. Once in a while he'd encounter a pirate crew, and take advantage of them. Either way his adventures always continued the same way. Once had got what he wanted he would simply float on his single raft, and start heading in any direction.

Talion had overpowered pirate crews before. Yes, the lesser rookies of the East Blue were nothing in comparison to the tortures of what the Grand Line had to offer. It was a place of unpredictability and instability. People that were not accustomed to traversing the harsh, unpredictable, and strange seas were usually easy bate for the predatory veteran pirates. Hell, even the islanders of the Grand Line were more adept than some of the pirates that found their way out there.

As of right now Talion was sitting idly on his raft. He bore a light-grey cloak that covered his entire body, save his tail. His tail, however, was in the water behind him swaying back and fourth propelling the raft forward with the assistance of the wind. He did not know what his direction would take him. Off in the distance Talion could see a ship. It wasn't a massive vessel, but he could see it being a fairly modest ship as it sailed along the waves. He closed his eyes with his arms and legs crossed, tail still in the ocean water swaying back and fourth. His floating raft was heading towards the ship. In his mind, many possibilities started to go through his head. The ship seemed to be nothing more than a merchant ship, so no real threat really presented itself to Talion right away. If anything, they had security. So, given his course and speed he would run into them soon unless they changed their course and decided to go another direction. Talion was not going to change his course. Depending on the crew would determine Talion's course of action. Should he rob them of their beli? Perhaps he could overpower the merchants, and finally have enough to get himself a ship of his own. Or, better yet find an already established crew and keep the beli for himself. Many possibilities could come of this encounter, just like the others.

Dan, in a deep sleep, would be snoring at an incredible noise level which would cause the whole room to vibrate with each of his heavy breaths. Without the knowledge of Dan, one of the men would have come in and touched his leg, being in such a deep sleep it would simply cause him to roll over onto his right shoulder in the hammock letting out another loud snore as he did so. If he were to be woken up, the man would need to do a lot more than a simple shake, even rolling him would most likely not wake him up. The thing about Dan was that when he went to sleep he wouldn't wake up for a while and he loved to sleep it was one of his favorite things other than eating and strength training. He knew that pirates out there were much stronger than those rookie pirates they had fought back at Loguetown, which is the main reason he wanted to get stronger, he wanted to be able to support his crew and be the backbone, he wanted to be able to be there for them in times of great need. That was only of course if they were to accept his offer of joining the crew which he dearly hoped so, he needed some strong members, no, rather he wanted all strong members, if his crew consisted of those that were weak with no skill he wouldn't be able to help them if they would die from a single strike without being able to throw one in return.

In Dan's deep sleep he was definitely dreaming, what he was dreaming of was not so unknown as he had been dreaming of such things for a long while now, since he had discovered such a thing it had been the only thing on his mind. What he was dreaming of could grant almost anyone magnificent powers beyond imagination and comprehension and they were called devil fruit, fruit which were the hosts of demon's powers long lost each with something unique about it. Dan had done extensive research on such things and he had planned to get a fruit of his liking whenever the chance was given, he would love to have such unique abilities on top of brute strength and basic fighting skills, he would be able to handle even tougher opponents. It was one of his first goals besides recruiting crew members and getting a decent ship. Once they got those things they would head for the Grandline and begin their search for the greatest treasure of all, the One Piece, so Dan could become the king of the pirates with the strongest crew in the world. He would make his crew like family where no two people are the same, everyone with unique abilities and attributes, it would be perfect, his dream come true.

"Oh, come on." Shun groaned as Dan remained asleep. Giving up for now, Shun made his way out of the room, back onto the deck. The sailor steering the ship was still there, and Shun gave him another friendly wave. He waved back, but with a hint of caution in his eyes. Satisfied with the response, Shun walked over to where Kino was ransacking the kitchen, passing the necessary doors. Then he turned a corner and almost bumped into Kino, holding his hands out in case they made contact. Stepping back, Shun let out a little chuckle.

"Haha, you might be a pirate, but I don't think petty theft's going to get you a Wanted poster." He motioned toward the apple, groaning as the pain in hid chest from the stitches flared up again. He clenched his teeth, heading back to the medical room.
"I need more antiseptic, but Dan's not waking up and the crew are being silent. Help me find some, and go look out for land." He motioned toward the surgery.

Once they were inside, Shun examined the cabinets at chest-level, examining every bottle that looked remotely useful. He found nothing.
"Then after this, wake Dan up, alright?" He stated, ignorant of how useful Dan would be awake in the event of a certain Fishman embarking the ship.

Kino remained in the kitchen, having found an apple to satisfy his hunger. Though, before he had begun to eat it the man who had gotten injured from the battle with pirates had walked in. He had commented on what Kino was doing being 'petty' thievery, which was actually a common trait among piracy. "then I suppose stealing the boat was for nothing, then? Well, besides a quick getaway anyways." He would then see the man motioning for the apple, so Kino tossed it towards him, assuming the man had wanted it. He then would begin to look for more food, though his search for it soon ended when the man had soon asked for aid when it came to what Kino had assumed to be medicine for the wound he had obtained in combat. He had also requested for Kino to go and wake up the other guy. "Sure, I guess." He replied to the man's favor. He would then notice the man walking towards the surgery room. Kino followed, figuring the medicine would be somewhere in there. As he looked, he soon found what the man had been looking for. He passed it to him, and then proceeded to go wake up Dan.
